Key accused in Gujarat hooch case arrested

Ahmedabad: The main accused in the Gujarat hooch tragedy, Vinod Dagri,
was arrested by the Crime Branch in Ahmedabad on Friday.
Two of his associates, Ajay Thakkar and Sunil were also arrested along with
him.
Gujarat police have also held massive raids across the state and booked more
than 6,000 people so far for violating prohibition.

Jakarta hotel bombs "terrorist" act - president's spokesman

Bomb blasts at the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels in Jakarta's central business district on Friday morning were "terrorist bombs," presidential spokesman Dino Patti Djalal was quoted as saying on Metro TV.
"It's clear this is not a gas explosion but terrorist bombs," Djalal said.

Security cover for MCOCA court judge after threat call

MUMBAI: Special judge Y D Shinde, who is handling cases of the Indian
Mujahideen and the Abhinav Bharat's terror suspects, on Thursday
complained
that he had received a threat call from an unknown person. Following the
threat, the city police have provided security cover to the judge. No FIR was
registered till late evening.
