July 06: The Bandra-Worli Sea Link, which was thrown open to the public on Wednesday,
had been kept free of toll for the first few days. But from Monday onwards the toll charges
will be Rs 50 one way to use the bridge.
Thousands had lined up in the first few days to try out the new landmark, bringing traffic
to a virtual standstill. Now that the toll tax is in place, traffic police hope movement of
vehicles will get smoother.
