RANCHI: Strange are the ways of admirers. Sometimes it's bouquets and sometimes it's
brickbats. For Team India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni, his28th birthday on Tuesday was certainly made memorable by his fans in his hometown. Cakes,
laddoos, dance, drama, gifts and bursting of firecrackers summed up MSD's b-day bash. Fans
hugged each other and offered cakes to his giant posters. Though Dhoni was not in Ranchi,
hundreds of his fans assembled at Mecon Stadium to celebrate.
Dhoni being the country's most eligible bachelor, had more girls queueing up for a slice of his
birthday cake than boys. "Happy birthday my love! Dhoni tum jiyo hazaro saal, but only with
me!" shouted the girls in unison.
