Paris is the fashion capital', Sameera Reddy

She was surprised when her mother flew down from Mumbai to meet her there. “That was pleasant,” she smiles, adding, “we both decided to go out and explore Paris.” Of the places, Notre-Dame de Fourviere was on her priority list. “I was so taken up with the history that everything has to it. Of all the places, the visit to Basilica of Notre-Dame de Fourviere was one of my most memorable experiences. Of course the trip was that much more fun because I had my mom’s company.”

Paris being one of the foremost places in the world when it comes to fashion did entice Sameera. “I loved all the stores there, little rues and high streets with the very latest in style. I have to say Paris is the fashion capital in Europe.”

It also offered a lot when it came to the gourmet spread. “I am a big lover of salads, pastries and France is known for both. I had such a great time gorging on those and enjoying other foods too.”
The French are known for their love for their native language, so how did she manage when it came to communication? “The French love it when you speak a little bit of their language, so it’s a good idea to get a travel book and ask around for help in their own language.
