Awaiting Disney's Princess Tiana

Disney fans around the world are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the newest Disney movie - The Princess and the Frog starring Princess Tiana. 

Princess Tiana is the main character in Disney's upcoming 2009 film "The Princess and the Frog". The film has a limited release in the U.S. (in NY and LA only) of the 25th November and will be released in U.S. cinemas on December 11. This film will mark a return of Disney traditional hand drawn animation, and will give fans 9th Disney Princess. The newest member of Disney's royal family, Princess Tiana, the first Disney Princess to come forward in a long 11 years - with the last Disney Princess will be 1998's Mulan. 

The Princess and the Frog story focuses on young Tiana, a girl who lives in the French Quarter in New Orleans in the 1920s Jazz Age and a prince named Naveen has been turned into a frog by the evil voodoo magician Dr. facilities it. History has a trumpet playing alligator, a love sick Cajun firefly, and a number of other cute characters on each trip. 

At the recent Toy Fair in USA, was an example given by Disney merchandise, which will accompany these feature film.With vibrant and regal colors like green, purple and gold, the toys awaken life in New Orleans and Bayou, where the film is set. The extensive Disney collection includes dolls, playsets, role-play items and costumes, and colorful accessories. 

The Princess and the Frog Tiana doll ($ 25) from Mattel, will probably be the most popular toys from the line. As in history, the beautiful princess Tiana bears her sparkly blue ball gown and comes with its seeds Prince Naveen. The fiber optic dress lights up and the frog doll and interact! Besides the signature Princess Tiana doll, Naveen Prince and Princess Tiana will be available in wedding attire.

While we wait for the film's release, Anika Noni Rose, Tiana voice gives us a glimpse of the princess' character. Tiana is a "diamond in the rough" who will have to learn some lessons before she is genuine princess status. She is a determined, motivated and a fiercely independent young woman. She wants to do things his way without anyone's help. "She is a strong woman who does not need someone to do things for her," says Anika Noni Rose. "She is eager to do things for themselves ..."
