Control Dog on Dog Aggression

Many factors may be responsible for making a dog becomes aggressive. Aggression is a natural part of their personality. Dogs needed to be aggressive just to survive. Aggression was necessary to be able to hunt and catch food, and to protect their families and area. Even after all these years of domestication aggression instinct remains, and a stop for the presence of dog on dog aggression is an important thing for an owner to know how to do. To check your dog's aggression is a good thing to know how to recognize your dog's body language for warning signs. Learn to understand the reasons why dogs become aggressive towards other dogs, so you can manage aggression before it becomes a problem.

One way a dog will show dominance by putting his head over the other dog's head and perhaps also by placing their forelegs on the other animal's back or shoulders. As they become more aggressive, they will bristle on his back, growling and showing teeth. Try to arrange for this phase of aggression do not get a chance to happen. At this stage, unless the other dog acts submissively to a dogfight likely. Of course you've seen this type of dog behavior many times. If you notice these aggressive positions, avoid encountering a situation that makes our dog aggressive.

Use the advice below, and we bet your dog will learn to start enjoying his new dog friends, as my did and lose its aggressive attitude.

    * Take your aggressive dog on a visit with you for a friend's house who has a nice non-aggressive dog. This would probably go better if they visit the dog is of the opposite sex of your dog, since dogs can be more aggressive in their own sex. If your friend's place is not a good idea, at least start in a neutral location is a good idea, so your dog does not have instincts to protect its turf.

    * Have both dogs on their leashes, so you can retain full control in the event of your dog lung. Still far enough apart that the dogs can not reach each other and have the dogs play seated. Keep your dog in the sitting position and not let him get excited or aggressive. Use lots of praise and a good treatment for a reward to show him that you are happy when he stops his aggressive posture. It is important for you to be consistent to get the best and fastest results with your dog training. Be sure not to yell at your dog, one that just focuses on a negative attitude.

    * When dogs show that they are calm around each other, bringing them close enough to take a preliminary sniff each other. Because dogs are quiet now, they greet each other without the shield of dominance and aggressive posture, such as growling or raising hairs on the back. If your dog is relaxed now, you have started the process of removing his aggressive attitude toward other dogs.

    * For future meetings, try using different locations to control the aggressive dog position. The idea is to desensitize your dog's aggressiveness through repeated encounter with a friendly dog.

    * When he looked as if he enjoys his new "friend" company the final test is in your dog's own yard. If your dog acting aggressively because he is at home, have dogs on strings to see how they should act. If your dog is relaxed, let them play together in the yard. What a relief it is to see your dog stops so bad aggressive attitude with other dogs, and actually have fun as a normal dog should.

Although this is only the beginning, you now know how to introduce your new dog, doggie friends, and stopped his really bad dog on dog aggression problem.
