Devil Woman Song and The Stories

In 1976, Cliff Richard recorded the song "Devil Woman". It was a big hit, reaching number nine on the UK charts. The U.S. has made it as far as number six on the Billboard Hot 100 It was Richard's biggest hit ever in the U.S. Let us learn more about this famous song. 

It was written by Terry Brittan. He also wrote songs that became hits for Tina Turner and Michael Jackson. Some of his other songs include "What's Love Got to do with it" and "We Do not need Another Hero" from the movie "Mad Max Beyond Thunder Dome". Terry played guitar on Cliff Richard's recording of Devil Woman. They were recorded at Abbey Road; a study was made famous by The Beatles. 

The Devil Woman song tells a story. A man seems to be cursed after a meeting with a strange stray cat with evil eyes. He will be affected, and finally looking through a medium, a gypsy woman to remove the curse. But he is shocked when he learns that the curse did not come from the cat. It was the gypsy woman put a curse on him to lure him into her clutches. 

Not many songs tell a simple story as it heard of Devil Woman. In other words, they are very simple songs. The melody is simple and not many instruments used. One of these simple songs, Devil Woman. There needed only a single guitar, an electric piano, some drums and other percussion. Oh, and there was a singer. 

Pop songs do not normally use the combo of major and minor chords heard in the Devil Woman. In American pop songs, it was one of the first to include more than one octave. 

Other groups have covered or performed song. The accused is one of them. The band was founded in 1981 in Washington. Its style is what they called splatter rock. Many of the sounds in their music is designed to mimic the sounds of the horror films that they loved. These include screaming lyrics and chainsaw like guitar riffs. 

In 2005 Cradle of Faith subject Devil Woman. This group performed extreme metal music. Their songs were in the style of any metal in accordance with the band. Because of their reputation and style of this song was perfect for them. 

Whoever plays the Devil Woman is a devilish song.
