The columnist wrote that "scientists around the world have reached the conclusion that the Earth is warming and that humankind is responsible." That sweeping statement contained truth, but there are scientists around the world who have not so concluded or who have doubts.
Is it not the proper role of science to question and not conclude in the absence of absolute proof? Professions of such conclusions smack more of a political agenda than true scientific inquiry.
