How to Clean Your Bird Cages Daily, weekly and monthly

Cleaning your dirty bird cages may seem like a dull piece. After all there are so many bars, cracks and hard to reach cracks to clean out. It is difficult to know where to begin. By making a schedule and keep the necessary materials handy, you can give your pet bird with the clean, comfortable surroundings that they deserve. Follow instructions for daily, weekly and monthly routines that are highly recommended.

1. You want to chance in the cage liner. Not only is it uncomfortable for your bird to walk around in their filth and feces, it is very unhealthy for them. Neglect to change your liners from day to day basis will definitely produce an extremely unpleasant odor, above all.

Weekly:

They must be properly scrubbed and soaked about once a week to kill all bacteria. Back up perches are good to have because a lot of wood take them long to dry and your pet will fell uneasy without them.


4. Wash and rotate the pet's toys. Any toys in your cage should be removed, soaked and scrubbed thoroughly. Be sure to have a variety of toys on hand so your pet does not get bored while you clean.


Monthly:


About once a month you should make a thorough cleaning of all your bird cage. If it can fit, would place it in your bathtub with all toys and perches removed be your best bet. You can also hose down in your backyard, if your cage is very large. Keep the following tips when you keep your bird environment.


1. Use a good, reliable scrub brush. Get a brush with bristles and durable use cage cleaner to help break down the residue that is stuck on and difficult to remove.


2. Be sure to wash all the cracks. There are many cracks in bird cages, and it is the ideal place for bacteria to start to grow. Come down into the grooves with your brush and do not forget any of the corners or crevices.
