Michael Jackson's Thriller: Song By Song

"Want to Be Startin 'Somethin'" - This is one of four tunes on Thriller that "The King of Pop" Michael Jackson was the sole songwriting credits. Michael Jackson was not only a great singer and dancer, he was also a great songwriter.

"Baby Be Mine" - to get an idea of how good the Thriller album is consider this: "Baby Be Mine" is one of only two songs, there was no hit single. It is a pretty great song to be one of only two songs not released as singles.

"The Girl Is Mine" - The text is cheesy as hell, but I think it is a part of the song's charm. This is a song I started to enjoy more and more over time. The back and forth between Jackson & Beatles legend Paul McCartney is pretty damn sweet. Jackson wrote this song.
"Thriller" - At this time the music video is probably more famous than the song, which I think is a bit unfortunate. It is a brilliant song and MJ's incredible vocals really put it over the top. Who else could have made this song work?

"Beat It" - Eddie Van Halen features of this "rock" song. It is the sort of thing that Jackson did not get enough credit for, he was really pushing the framework of what pop music could be. Jackson wrote "Beat It".

"Billie Jean" - The quintesential Michael Jackson song. If you ever question MJ's songwriting skill, remember that he wrote this song.

"Human Nature" - This is one of the tracks that we enjoy most these days because it has not been played as a lot of the others on the album. It is a beautiful song.

"Pyt (Pretty Young Thing)" – we do not think any song makes me want to dance more than "Nevermind." Much like the beautiful "Human Nature", this song is among my favorite songs on Thriller, because it has not been included in as many greatest hits albums.

"The Lady In My Life" - The worst song on the album? Probably. Still pretty darn good? Without a doubt.  've Read about this incredible album make you want to learn to sing like MJ? Well, we will not guarantee that you will be able to sing like MJ (who can?), But you can certainly improve your vocal abilities with Singorama singing lessons that come with a 60 days full money back refund period.
