Naomi Campbell's Fashion for Relief Show

Raising money for victims of the earthquake in Haiti was the goal of Naomi Campbell’s fashion show in New York City’s Bryant Park on February 13,2010. Celebrities such as Chris Brown as well as star designers Diane Von Furstenberg and Donna Karan all graced the runway.

This March, the designs worn on the runway will be auctioned off to benefit the earthquake victims. The money raised from tickets sold for this event, in addition to the proceeds from items being auctioned will be donated to organization called CARE which supports the reconstruction of Haiti as well as healthcare for women and children.

Campbell modeled a dress designed by her friend, the late Alexander McQueen. Naomi Campbell is one of many celebrities who has used their image to benefit this devastated country. While other stars such as Sarah Jessica Parker, Shakira, Beyonce’, Rihanna, Bono and others participated in the telethon that aired on several networks a few weeks ago, the efforts to raise money are ongoing.
