If a parrot does not get all the toxic seed coating off and takes the venom all is not lost. It is widely known that many parrot species around the world eat clay. Agreeing, avian experts is fallowing: (at) parrots eat clay to release minerals that absorb toxins out of the birds stomach. This process allows toxins to pass through without much damage parrot bird.
Almost all parrots are on a way to keep a seed with its' upper and lower jaws, while at the same time, lower mandible crushes the husk. Once a parrot has crushed seed must then be rotated to remove it. The seeds are then extracted from the shells and eaten.
