The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will start examinations for Class X and Class XII on Wednesday. This year 9,02,517 students will take the Class X exams and 6,99,129 students will appear for the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination for Class XII.
The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) will also start with its Indian Certificate of Secondary Education Examination 2010, for (Class X) on Wednesday. Its students will take the first paper for English language on the first day. CBSE will begin its board exams with the physics paper for Class XII and music test for Class X.
CBSE has come out with many reforms, especially for Class X students. But students remained nervous on exam-eve. Kuhu of Delhi Public School R.K. Puram said: "Appearing for the boards is an overwhelming experience. Class XII students are better off because they had the experience of taking the Class X exams."
