Meanwhile, the first Punjab home match to be played on Saturday has generated huge response from fans with more than 70 percent of the tickets already being sold, while 50 percent tickets for the first five games have also been sold. This information was given by Col. Arvinder Singh, vice-president of Kings XI Punjab. Chairperson and Promoter Preity Zinta, Promoter Ness Wadia, Captain Kumar Sangakarra along with the management and players, also pledged their support for the HIV affected by wearing special red bands to support and create awareness on AIDS.
