Opposition to press for cut motions

Enraged that the Congress is not willing to roll back the fuel price hike, the BJP-led NDA and the entire Opposition have ganged up against the Centre in cornering the UPA Government.

The BJP insisted on Tuesday that it will be pressing for cut motions during the discussion on the Finance Bill in the Lok Sabha.

Besides rattling the Centre on the numbers game, the BJP will be exposing Congress allies DMK and the Trinamool Congress which have upped the ante on the hike in petroleum prices.

Significantly, the estranged partners of the UPA _ RJD, SP and the BSP _ parties lending outside support to the Manmohan Singh Government are in sync with the NDA in not letting the opportunity be wasted on embarrassing the UPA Government on the issue.
