Throw a great party and save money at the same time

So you've got a big party coming up and you want it to be something special. Sole is when the economy took a turn for the worse, the pennies are kinda tight at the moment and get some wedding cuisine is never cheap. Their arrangement can also go out with a bang, without you having to spend loads.

* Cook food itself. Normally with an event, you've got hundreds of things to organize, and if you can get someone else to worry about food, thats a detail taken care of. BUT, you gotta save the pennies, and you do not like the prices, the outdoor catering company has cited. So although it may be abit more of a burden, and one other thing you must do is the easiest and cheapest way is to do it yourself. Now this could be a blessing in disguise, as you will have total control over what you want to be with the event. So you can create a vegeterian dish for only vegeterian there.

    * Start calling in favors. Now that you've decided to take one, you need to call in some favors from friends. Call of these favors and get family members or anyone with time on their hands to help. All hands on deck for this one, and the more hands you have, the faster it gets done and you can move into something else.

    * Use a cheaper brand when they shop. If you do not mention that many of your customers wont even notice that you've switched to a cheaper brand. The stigma of buying a cheaper brand or supermakrets own should be gone by this time, especially when we're in a recession. This will save some money, so the pennies to go to something else.

* Use your house as the venue for the event. Yes, it is not as glamourous as you had planned, but you can get away with it. The money you saved on not to book a hall can be put back in the bank. For larger events, you can even use a place in the country for a feature whose class if you can get permission.
