How to sell your skills online

We can 100% proof that the use of online video to teach new skills is the best way to market and sell your knowledge (the small business accounting software video above took me about one hour) on the Internet. There are a lot of hype about information marketing and there are unscrupulous marketers all over the internet who will try to take your money in exchange for showing you ways that simply would not work, here is a method that does. The optimal strategy is to focus on creating and selling your own product as all the income you make will be yours and not shared with others.

We hope you are aware of iTunes, but we bet you do not understand it is probably equally important for the development of Internet in the browser as much as it is an effective way to access, download and organize video content. The market for small business accounting software is so comprehensive and highly competitive, yet we still manage to easily use these platforms to advertise and sell my stuff.

To get the right result, you should always start by getting your ideas about what you say organized into a storyboard or plan that defines the flow, format and agenda of your video. we use two techniques to create storyboard for my video, slide making software such as Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple Keynote or a mind mapping program such as Mind Meister or Bubble (these can both be found by entering the name in Google search. Do not spend a single penny or ear before you made any money, we know for a fact it is quite possible to get your created storyboard and your video made and sell it with out incurring cost what so ever.

To create your videos, we recommend a really good program called Camtasia Studio, from a company called TechSmith will enable you to produce high quality videos to YouTube, Podcasts and download to your customers computer in either QuickTime or Windows Media format (not download the trial yet, just watch all the tutorials). Downloading and installing Camtasia software before you have everything else ready, will reduce the amount of time you have to produce and improve your video.

OK it was a brief overview of what tools you have at hand and get in and the next lesson, which we hope will be published on this blog in the next few days (owners permitting) we will go through a detailed description of how we create my small business accounting software videos.
