Nokia launches N86 8MP smartphone


Mobile handset maker Nokia announced the launch of eight megapixel handset Nokia N86 8MP in Chandigarh on Tuesday. Nokia N86 features Carl Zeiss optics with triband 3G HSDPA/HSUPA, a 2.6-inch OLED display running at 240 x 320 QVGA resolution, and 8GB of onboard memory augmented with microSD cards. Nokia N86 runs S60 3rd Edition, FP2, has WiFi b/g, A-GPS, a digital compass and accelerometer. The Nokia N86 8MP is the first mobile device with variable aperture, adding to the Carl Zeiss Tessar lens for excellent results. It has never been easier to capture special moments in such a great quality. Shipping with the latest version of Nokia Maps and full Ovi integration, the Nokia N86 8MP gives a personal dimension to photos and videos. People can share their location with personal content like geotagged photos.

The Nokia N86 8MP comes with a built-in compass, along with a trial navigation license for driving. It also includes pedestrian navigation so that happy snappers don’t lose their way when capturing life through the camera lens. The device also supports full sync capability with a PC and TV-out support for slideshows, he said. In addition to it, it comes with dedicated gaming keys and 17 pre-loaded N-Gage game out of which customers can choose one license game for free. The unlocked N86 with the 8MP camera attaches a price tag of Rs 27,359 in India.
