Railway Budget: Big cut in train fare unlikely


Lower-than-expected revenue from freight may prevent Mamata Banerjee from making
meaningful cuts in fares, but it won’t come in the way World's Top 25 Train Trips

Sapsan: Russia's fastest train of the railways minister adding dozens of trains linking her
home state West Bengal when she presents the first Rail Budget of the new UPA
government.
Among the goodies that she may serve up are 50 new trains either passing through, or
originating, from West Bengal and a proposal for a factory to make wagons in the eastern
state.
