Islamabad, July 7 (DPA) A suspected US pilotless aircraft fired two missiles at a Taliban hideout
Tuesday in Pakistan's tribal region bordering Afghanistan, killing 12 people and injuring several
more, an official said.
The Hellfire missiles demolished an office of the militants in the Ladha area of South Waziristan,
a stronghold of Taliban chief Baitullah Mehsud.
'According to our information, 12 people died in the attack while 10 are injured,' said a local
intelligence official who spoke on condition of anonymity. 'Most of those killed and wounded are
Taliban.'
The official said two drone aircraft could still be seen flying in the area.
