CHANDIGARH: UT administration has come up with a new plan to ensure
that students feel welcome when they embark on a new academic journey in
city’s colleges and aren’t haunted by the menace of ragging.
Taking a cue from a drive launched by Delhi police, UT home secretary Ram
Niwas on Thursday asked city cops and college authorities to constitute
special squads to stop ragging. He also stated that posters giving details of
anti-ragging help lines should be printed and pasted.
