Obesity

Obesity - what not to do to lose weight

Life in today's fast-forwarded world is full of stress and anxiety. There is an eternal struggle to succeed (or more generally to exceed the next door), and because of this, it is not entirely uncommon to ignore our health and appearance, and although this is understandable to a certain extent, given the devilish amount of workload, our lifestyle is imposed upon us, we need to ask ourselves sooner or later, "How long will we be able to continue this?" or perhaps "How long will my body allows me to continue to live like that?". Let us just take the issue of obesity in the United States. Now I do not think you really need me to tell you how serious the problem is, just take a look around. But maybe there's nothing like some statistics on our side to convince the ubiquitous critics. So let's have a look at current trends in obesity in the U.S.

"Today, 64% of all Americans weigh too much and over 30% are overweight in 1988 through 1992, fewer than 56% were overweight and fewer than 23% of American adults were obese."

Source: Just as written in the "Calories Count - Report of the Working Group on Obesity" by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and if it is not enough, the statistics for children even more shocking. Recent research by "U.S. Centers for Disease Control" indicates that 15% of children and adolescents aged 6 to 19 are obese. It is more than twice as obesity 2 decades ago. One thing is sure if we Americans get heavier, our health suffers. Overweight and obesity increase the possibility of coronary heart disease, type-2 diabetes and certain cancers to name a few. According to some unofficial sources, at least 400,000 deaths each year attributed to obesity!

So we've got a lot of statistics. What now? How they affect us? What do they mean for us? One thing is clear that we, as Americans become obese and this is bad. With regard to the problems apart from the health and medical problems, there are a lot of economic issues. There is some speculation that rising obesity and thereby reduce productivity has been a significant if not major contributor today "weak market".

And you know what the worst thing is? We all know that the solution to our problem. But we never do what we need to lose fat. These are the things that-for lack of a better word bothers me most. And yes, of course, all this talk of obesity has churned some really ironic circumstances. Some years ago the problem was that people were not affected in the slightest bit about obesity, calling it another "hippies to the rescue" propaganda. But now with all the gyms and presumed magic pills that can reduce your weight at an incredible (and medically unsound) rate trying to wrangle any cash they can from customers, people spend their hard-earned money in the wrong direction to lose their weight. They get caught up in all these cheesy ads like "Hey, take this pill every day and lose xyz Kgs of weight in the ABC days, while eating what you ate already." Now most people who buy these are not stupid enough to believe that this would work the way the market is saying it. But they still buy it because the cost of the pill is nothing compared to the results promised. And they feel they have nothing to lose, even if the pills do not work. It is the mentality that an internet marketing advantage. How do I know? I have been one myself for a long time. And believe me, buy the "weight-reducing pills" is fine as long as they do not affect your health. But the problem starts creeping in when people become too dependent on them and stop doing what is obvious even for them to lose weight. They keep eating all the junk food at odd times and hope that the pills would work. Hah!

Let me give you one piece of advice. You do not need any pills to lose weight. You do not have any heavy "gymming" to lose weight. These are for hardcore body builders. I will give you a simple three-step method to loosing everything mug. The first thing you need to do is get your habit to eat on a schedule. Now as I said when I started this article, it is difficult with today's lifestyle to do this, but it is still better than to go spend an hour a day in the gym. When you get your eating habits on track, it's time to eat garbage. We all know that all those fries and pizzas we eat will end up as fat in our hips, but we just can not manage ourselves. And I will not waste our time trying to convince you not eat it because you probably have heard something I have to tell you a lot of times. But you know you have to do this sooner or later. So good, do it. The last step is ..... Enjoy your slender body and never go back to mug again. That all. Of course you can spice it up a bit by adding a little exercise. But I did not tell you that we all knew the answer all along.

So let me finish this off with this: Repeat after me: Obesity is bad. I know how to lose my fat. I do not need some stupid pills offered by some cheesy guy on how to lose weight. I need to stop cramming their mouths with junk and I'm going to do this starting right now. Congratulations, you are well on their way to what you've dreamed of. But I will tell you a thing saying I'm not making any friends with Ronald McDonald's Joker after that.
