For those who owns several canaries in a cage or a flight cage, it is no surprise that they are often curious to find out when and where ever their canaries love. Nothing is more excited than seeing a couple of canaries to find happiness in each other's company and their decision to have a child. But like humans, there has to be a romantic moment or a romantic room where the magic will occur. For canaries, it may not be a grand ball room or a night out, but they need. If you can provide the environment, it will happen.
For example, canaries very photo-sensitive. They can sense temperature zones of the earth and the seasons. They have a few requirements that will make them feel it is time to fall in love. A temperate climate is one of the requirements. In other words, you can not just force the Canary Islands to come together. A hot environment, however, affect the way in the Canary Islands will look at each other.
As a matter of fact, if you want to have a better chance for them to fall in love, so make sure you can gradually increase their exposure to light three months before you wish they can reproduce, or in other words, fall in love. If they get nine hours of daylight for a month, then increase the days of sunlight in every fifteen minutes at a time each week. To them, nine hours per day the amount of daylight they get in the winter. They do not like winter, in contrast to people who sometimes want to cuddle and drink hot chocolate. They are rather more like the summer of love type of bird.
Actually do not forget the pre-breeding, the Canary Islands need plenty of exercise. This means more flying time than usual, and they need an environment where they can fly back and forth. Flight cages or breeding cages are great for this. If they are not getting enough exercise, can damage the female bird, when the eggs will hatch.
In about a month later now hours of daylight increase to ten, they are beginning to think it's time to race. It is not a good idea to rush this process. They will now begin to fall in love and begin to spawn. The female bird will be in constant motion, while the male bird sing heartily.
Now, at eleven hours, the female bird will begin to gather nesting material everywhere. This is a good time to deliver materials to begin to lay eggs. The children will arrive soon, and they have to make a great preparation for it. Although this activity does not sound very romantic at all, the birds are happily working on getting their babies ready. This is a very exciting process to see when it will happen.
After daytime hit twelve, the clock strikes at the right time for the babies arrive. While some canaries require a little more time, this is generally timeline, where they hatch and rear babies. Voila! They did it. Of course they did not just do it without your help. If you are still interested in getting your canaries come together, hopefully this guide will help you create a perfect environment for love to happen.
