The aim of gearing is to provide maximum benefit with minimum effort. Specifically, for those of us who mean the most return on investment with minimal personal commitment, and we can achieve this through outsourcing.

If you improve your areas of strength, you get the benefits of leverage and multiply your results, whereas focusing on improving weak areas will at best result in only an incremental improvement in the results.
