Macaws - big, beautiful birds with one voice to match

Ara birds are big, noisy and attention seeking, and has a beautiful exterior to match. These birds are definitely not for those who have busy schedules and are not ready to devote himself, heart and soul to caring for and training of these beautiful creatures. If you get one as a pet, be prepared to spend copious amounts of time on it, not only interact but also education, it does not develop any bad habits, such as making more noise than it would otherwise.

Ara birds is not recommended for apartment dwellers because their noisy will now undoubtedly will annoy your neighbors to no end, and if you have a particularly restless bird, eventuate in noise complaints made against you. Proper handling and training must also be in your macaw's formative years, or they may develop a nasty habit of biting. A bite from a macaw is not nothing in their beaks, more than enough power to take off a finger if they would.

The blue gold macaw is one of the largest parrots in the world who grow up to 34 inches long at maturity. They mainly come from South America and can live for up to 80 years. They are extraordinarily beautiful and smooth, and despite their tendency to bite and nip at people, they are considered great pets.

They are very sociable birds living in large flocks in the wild. Therefore, they require daily social interaction at least. Their intelligence allows them to learn to speak, although they are not as proficient in this skill as Amazon parrots. They are relatively easy to train if you're willing to put in the effort, and once trained, they will lose some of their natural tendencies to be high and devastating.
