Will B-town showstoppers walk the ramp?

Delhi got its dose of fashion at last, albeit a day late. The Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week finally got its act together, after the organisers, Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) procured the required fire safety licence, with the fire safety department conducting mock-drills on Wednesday evening to ensure all safety arrangements were in place.

However, the cancellation of shows on Day 1 turned out to be a disappointment for three Bollywood beauties who were to be the showstoppers on the ramp. Sushmita Sen, Tabu and Minissha Lamba, who rehearsed their steps for their shows on the opening day are now unsure if they’ll be able to walk the ramp on a rescheduled day, tentatively set to be Monday. The actresses were to walk the ramp for designers Ritu Beri, JJ Valaya and Ranna Gill respectively.
