A perfect T20 start to the batting proceedings, a late charge by a fresh face, an inspiring show by the bowlers, an excellent fielding effort - the Delhi Daredevils dished out everything required to topple a good side.
And they did that in grand style too as Royal Challengers Bangalore stuttered to their first home defeat of IPL 3, losing by 17 runs.
Defending a respectable total of 183/4, DD managed to restrict the formidable RCB batting lineup to 166/9 in their 20 overs to end the Bangalore side's four-match winning streak.
The RCB chase started on a good note with the golden pair of Jacques Kallis and Manish Pandey putting together another fruitful opening stand of 71 in nine overs.
