No Bake Chocolate Salami recipe

Recipe for a quick authentic Italian chocolate dessert that requires no baking. 

This tasty chocolate treat is a very common go-to recipe for Italian VAT looking for a quick-fix no bake chocolate dessert for their children. It is also a great idea to let the children prepare it yourself since it does not involve the use of the stove or oven. Kids like it for the simple chocolate flavor and because it looks like a salami, but tastes like chocolate. This recipe originates in Emilia Romagna, a central-northern part of Italy where it traditionally as dessert at Easter, but is very popular throughout Italy with many different variations.When can prepare it in advance and leave it a night refrigerator, it will be easier to cut and serve. It is not recommended on a very hot weather and not leave it out of the fridge too long as it can be sticky and harder to cut and serve. 
Ingredients for Chocolate Salami 

    * 10 ounces of Graham Crackers 
    * 10 tablespoons butter 
    * 7 ounces of unsweetened chocolate 
    * 2 Eggs 
    * One and 1 / 2 cups milk 
    * 10 tbsp of Sugar 

No Bake Chocolate Salami recipe

   1st Remove the butter from the refrigerator an hour or so to let it come to room temperature 
   2nd With your hands until crumbs are more or less half inch every crumb of Graham crackers in a large bowl does not make them into a powder 
   3rd Place bittersweet chocolate in the microwave with milk in a covered bowl. Tube every minute until well melted. Let it cool down. 
   4th Work the butter with sugar, eggs and chocolate 
   5th Mix in crumbled biscuits 
   6th Put the mixture in wax paper or aluminum foil and roll it in the form of a salami 
   7th Put in refrigerator and let it stand for at least two hours 

Serving Suggestions and Variations for Chocolate Salami

    * Apply salami with sprinkles or 
    * Apply salami with cocoa powder 
    * Apply salami with coconut powder for an exotic taste 
    * Once it is clear that tying the salami with string to make it more like a real salami 
    * Replace the graham crackers with almond biscotti 
    * Substitute part of Graham crackers with almonds or hazelnuts 
    * Replace milk with rum 
    * Replace milk with chocolate liquor 
    * Replace milk with Kahlua or Bailey 
    * Substitute some of the melted bittersweet chocolate with Nutella 
    * Add chocolate mix some espresso for a more bitter taste 
    * Substitute part of Graham crackers with candied fruit or candied orange peel 
    * Add some paprika mixture to a hot and spicy version 
    * Serve with whipped cream or ice cream on the side
