Cord Train your puppy

Want to know the easiest way to leash train your new puppy? Get an early start on this by starting to leash train your puppy at a very young age. My new puppy learned to walk on his leash in just 6 weeks. He was already inclined to eight weeks old, like an old pro.

Try this simple and easy technique to quickly get your puppy used to a leash. Some puppies and dogs hate the very sight of the leash. A dog or puppy that is afraid of the leash probably not getting the right exposure for the first time.

You only want your puppy to have positive results with leash training, use this simple tip. Here's how to start leash training my puppy now and never have any problems with your puppy is afraid of being put on their leash. Actually they are happy when they see the leash because they know they are about to take a walk with Dad.

    * Start by putting the puppy's collar flat-Do not use the choke collar for this. That in itself is no big deal, and the puppy should not even respond. After attach his leash, but let it just dragging behind him. There is no reason to keep a leash right now. Just let him cruise around the house or yard check everything out and go on his puppy business. Try to go up close and make sure his leash, do not get caught on something. As long as the string continues unimpeded, the puppy probably will not even be aware that he was dragging a leash around.

    * When your puppy is used to walk with a leash behind him, you can move to the next step. Pick a string end, but be sure to not let it tighten up, you still want to keep it left off. Go with your puppy to let him examine what he wants, do not try to verify its position on this point. Begin the next step in leash training for your puppy is very used to walking with you on his loose leash.

    * Now your puppy must meet to learn to walk with you without pulling on the leash. It is a good idea to give your puppy rewards of a treat to go near you. Keep treats in your left hand so that your puppy gets the idea to go along your left side. Heel position to ask the puppy to walk on your left side. Try calling your puppy to come to your side to offer a treatment and lots of praise and love. Be sure to reward your puppy each time to positively reinforce the correct behavior.

    * If the puppy is distracted, gently tug his leash when you call him to get his attention and show its treatment of him.

    * Give him his salary and lots of praise for coming to his treatment and listening to you. He will soon get the idea. At the age of 6 weeks, puppies can already learn so much. Remember, do not be impatient or cross with your pet when you first leash training him. Try not to make it an unhappy time for the puppy when training him. Only use positive reinforcement techniques when leash training your puppy, or any other training, you will do later. If they have a good time, your puppy or dog learn their training much faster. I know that always works for me too.

    * Continue the training several times a day until your puppy is comfortable to walk beside you with his leash loose. By the time your puppy is comfortable to walk on a loose leash, he's halfway there to learn how to "heel". It should be as easy as that. Follow this simple lesson, starting with a very young puppy, and you will never be a problem to put your dog on his leash for a fun ride.
