Conures are playful, intelligent and loving birds are very vocal. The only good pet for those who do not take into account the occasional bouts of high whistling and squawking coming from their bird cage. They vary in size from small (9 inches) to medium (19 inches). They also vary in appearance - some types with long tails and others who have short tails, but all their tails are tapered.
Green conures, small parrots, which usually grow to about 12.5 inches at maturity. Generally, they make good pets, but if they have not been properly socialized they can be aggressive or otherwise antisocial. As long as they are treated properly and get regular attention, they will be loving and obedient, which makes them safe to have around children as long as children do not manhandle them by pulling their tails or mishandling them.

Although they can learn to speak, their words are not usually very well marked, and therefore probably not the best option if you specifically want a talking bird. But they are very intelligent and will learn to do tricks quickly.
Green cheek conures are one of the smallest of its kind, rising to only 10 inches at maturity. Green cheeks are particularly aggressive when they are small, but with proper training and an ounce of patience on your part, they will learn not to bite. Over time, you should conure so loving that it wants to be handled and interacted with daily.
Green cheek conures will enjoy a varied diet of various fruits and vegetables. Examples of different things to feed your pet is broccoli, dandelions, carrots and kale. Meet their varied and healthy diet will ensure your bird live life fully.
