How to turn your presentations into money

We can 100% prove that the use of online video to teach new skills is the best way to market and sell your knowledge (the small business accounting software video above took me about an hour) on the Internet. Here is a really quick way to sell what you know online potentially thousands of people around the world and begin to supplement your income. The most profitable approach is to design and develop your own product so all the margin you make will be yours to use to make more (and we recommend you do).

Ok lets get started we assume you've heard of podcasts, iTunes and YouTube, these and online video is central to the approach we will share with you. We are sometimes surprised how good my aim market for small business owners to respond to the small business accounting software tutorials we regularly sell and distribute.

OK, first step, create a storyboard for your content, storyboard, we think a plan for what knowledge you share with your audience. If you are familiar with Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple keynote then you already have some of the skills you need to get started making your first online video tutorial or presentation. Before embarking on this exercise, you should have in mind my motto, which is to get a rope across the river and not using any money to do it and the good news is that this is entirely possible that we will show in a moment .

There is a great tool for making videos that will stream from YouTube or can be downloaded as a podcast or Quicktime or Windows Media Player video its so-called TechSmith Camtasia Studio and their site contains lots of really easy to follow tutorials you'll see, but what you do not download the thirty day trial yet. When you install Camtasia software trial you only have thirty days to get familiar with the software, producing your video and perhaps refine it, then do not download the trial before anything is ready.

Now you know what tools you need to create your videos and in the next few days we  will publish to this blog (owners permitting) a second and far more detailed lesson on storyboard creation to use what we created and distributed my little business accounting software videos as real life examples of what is possible.
