One Way Link In Depth Help

Search engines look very favorably on sites that have an incoming link from a prominent site where the site does not link back to the other side (This is not surprisingly called a unidirectional link). It is also known mostly as a backlink.

Search engines generally give less weight to a site involved in bidirectional links (where two sites link to each other) as this has been abused so much in the past by webmasters seeking to achieve a high search engine rankings.

There is still an advantage with bidirectional links, especially if you link to a prominent site, so if your only option to link to a prominent site by linking back to them from your website, by all means do so. Just remember, if you can get them to link back to you only (one way link), it would be more beneficial to your search engine rankings.

Remember that the site you're linking to (or get one way links from) should have content related content on your website.

Take your time when you work on your one way links level. It pays to do some careful research first as an additional way to move your online business forward rapidly. The reward is definitely worth it.

One way links is by far the best way to increase your ranking in search engines, will ultimately bring more traffic as more people find your website in search engine results.

The more "important" (from the viewpoint of the search engines) the site is linking to you, the better, and that is what separates men from boys over search engine rankings.

A good way to get the ball up, is to submit articles to article directories (see Article Directory article for specific details). The key here is to ensure the article directory you submit even have a good page rank with Google.

It is very important to ensure that your one-way links have related content to your site. Although it comes from a senior side, if your incoming link is from a website selling cars and your selling flowers on your website, it is unlikely to help much. However, if your site was about tires then the link would be much more inclined to give an advantage to you in search engine rankings.

The more one-way links you can get from the appropriate and reliable (in the eyes of search engines) and quality content sites, the better. Remember that a single quality one way links will probably give more of a benefit to your site, than have 20-30 low quality links (un-trust sub-quality, not quite relevant content to your site, or combinations of these problems ).

The second thing you'll definitely want to do is mix up your anchor text from these unidirectional links (Anchor text is the text that appears on the screen for a link to your website).

Where possible you will want to try and control what is in the text on these sites (of course this would not be possible sometimes, because it is not your homepage, but I have found many web masters are happy to help)

You definitely do not want to have the same anchor text for many incoming links from many websites like this can put a red flag to search engines, which may well evaluate your website less importance because they think you can manipulate the results (I 'm not saying that the text for each one way connection must be unique, only that you should ensure you have a number of combinations of them in use).

You want to have your best keyword phrases in use with your incoming links, but uses a lot of variation and even just some normal links (just your domain name in anchor text) will help to keep things natural.

The second thing you want is to be sure that there is not always link to your root directory on your site, but rather directly to articles, etc. This gives your incoming link to be targeted to a specific page.

For example with my site, I submit articles to various article directories, which are a subset of a more comprehensive article. In this case I have chosen to link from the article directory article directly to the higher compressive strength article on my website. I have also ensured that the article is not only a doublet, because search engines do not like duplicate content and will mark down your websites importance if copied content is found.

Of course one way links to your site will not only increase your website's search engine rankings, but will also bring traffic to your website.

Start slowly and build links over time, you will find your likely to get much better results doing it this way and that it is also more likely that your high search engine rankings can be expected to "hold" in the future.
