AHMEDABAD: The Anti-terrorist Squad (ATS) nabbed three persons, who
had infiltrated Gujarat through the sea. Chandrakant Bachani alias Ashok
Sindhi, who lived in Dubai, was brought illegally by two sailors on a
merchant vessel.
According to ATS officials, the ship named Al-Murad, registered in Dubai in
the name of one Kasam, was handled by Yusuf Jafrabadi alias Bapado of
Mandvi-Salaya. The ship ferried merchant goods between Kutch and Dubai.
The ship's captain was Ibrahim Surani, a resident of Jam Salaya, Jamnagar.
