Chanhassen Dinner Theater

Dinner and a show has been popular in the U.S. since its first dinner theater opened in 1962. 40-year-old Chanhassen theater started only a few years after the first and continues to entertain people in 2008. A lot of top quality shows play every year.

The theater is not just a single room. It is a 90,000 square foot facility which includes a series of theater and dining room. Chanhassen largest show room is the main Dinner Theater. 541 people can fit in this room. Make sure there are more theaters, but this one has booths and tables where dinner is served. There is the Playhouse Theater, a very small space, and the Fireside Theater where patrons watch a show after eating at a second dining room. Corresponding to a stadium luxury box, Director's Room overlooks Main Dinner Theater. Private parties will take place in the Main Dinner Theater, where people can also see the play from the top compartment. On site are also facilities for weddings, as well as both a pub and a lounge.

Talking about Playhouse Theater, this small room has a unique story of its own. The theater began hosting the game "We Do! We Do" in 1971. The show continued until 1993. Top of 22 years of entertaining there, the player boasted the same cast from the opening day to the last curtain call. 125 patrons at a time, over 700,000 people made famous by Chanhassen to see that play there.

Chanhassen presented some of the most popular player over the years. From May 2003 to June 2004 Sound of Music played a repetition there. Camelot has been there, which has Annie Get Your Gun and The Music Mon They were all in the main theater. Some of the other rooms have their share of the famous titles as The Sunshine Boys and On Golden Pond. Big productions playing at Chanhassen, as well as smaller shows. It is one of the highlights of the Twin Cities, because there is a game for everyone.
