Free Web Traffic Breakthrough Tips

This article describes the Auto-Responders. Refer to other articles on this site for other major auto-responder information.

Ok, so you know why you want to create a mailing list (to keep in touch with your visitors and customers and be able to offer them special promotions and campaigns and to provide information that is really needed and useful to them).

So how would you create a campaign? It may be a potential disaster if you do not do it properly and to consider ramifications mixing potential and actual customers together.

Here is an example.

You might have an e-Book your sale on your site.

The regular price e-Book can be $ 47th As part of pre-sales process, offering you an opt-in to a mailing list where potential buyers can find more information about your e-book, and you can over a period of time giving them information about e-book, etc.

During customers and prospects on the same mailing list is usually not a good idea because you can target the information you want to give each group.

You would be much better off providing a list of all the information about e-book (your prospects list) and have a second list that must accompany the purchase of e-book, with other pertinent information.

Can you see how the overall quality of the information you give to each group would degrade if you tried to get away, with only one list.

For example, about what if you want to offer your existing customers a discount on another product (but not outlook). What about if you want to offer prospects a discount for a limited period to buy e-book.

This would only end up disturbing the other group of people if you tried to combine them in a list. Surprisingly, many companies are trying to do just that.

Decent auto-responder software can do clever things like automatically move a prospect from one list to another after a specific event occurs.

In the above example, you can get a view shifted from "prospects" list t "customers" list automatically when the prospect bought your e-Book. Nice, eh?

Can you see where we want with this? You must have a number of auto-responders for customers, potential customers and perhaps elite customers. Do not forget about your affiliates who sell your products, they need their own set of auto-responders giving them absolutely all the information they need to know.

Things like where to find all the tools they need to market your products, how to control their subsidiaries, call to action, special offers (you can even offer your affiliates additional commissions for a limited time, or offer an extra once-off payment the highest paying affiliate this month).

Also remember that while the auto-responder automatically sends out these emails to your various contacts, you can still send a "once-off email to each group.

For example if your affiliate mailing list you can send them an email every time the e-book was updated, or to advise of a special promotion for the next seven days, etc.

Are you beginning to see how powerful mailing lists and auto-responders are? Auto-responders work for you automatically twenty-four hours a day.

So what does all this have to do with web traffic, you may ask? Well it's simple really, you maximize traffic to your website greatly increase the chances of getting recurrent from existing customers and get your name in front of potential customers is often much greater risks for them to buy.

Just imagine when that day comes, and you've written your second e-book (it is obviously related and useful content is not it?). You now have the opportunity to sell that ebook to all your customers who have already purchased from you before (this includes all the customers your affiliate brought to your website!

Oh happy happy, joy!) You can make changes to your auto responder strategy (change content, add a new e-mail, so that future auto-responders promote new e-book). And you can decide to get customers buying the new e-book in a separate mailing list and yes, you guessed it, you promote your original e-book on this list!

As we have mentioned elsewhere, we use and recommend Weber for my mailing lists and auto responders. They are a premium service (but not cost) and most importantly, their share of successful e-mail they send is much higher than most of their resistance.

For something to do with internet marketing solution, we suggest that you do some diligent research first and watch the sharks out there!

Another great thing about them is that they have a fantastic set of videos showing just how to use their products. We "get" things very quickly if we can watch it and video does this for me.

Check out Weber, they have a great free trial available.
