Have you ever wanted to make candy, but it just seems like it is too difficult or you are afraid it will not turn out right? Here are a few recipes for delicious candies that are easy to make, always turns out right and is very tasty. And the best part is that you will not find these candies in stores. Have you ever tasted anything made with sweetened condensed milk that was not good? we did not think so. And this fudge will be delicious too! Both of these recipes calls for peanut butter. If you do not know (we did not until we were diabetic), peanut butter help to counteract the sugar. So it is an excellent ingredient in candies and cookies.
Peanut butter butterscotch fudge
1 pkg (6 ounces) butterscotch chips
1 cup peanut butter
1 regular can sweetened condensed milk (ie, Eagle Brand)
At the top of a double boiler over hot but not boiling water, melt butterscotch chips. Add peanut butter, stir well to mix and melt peanut butter. Add sweetened condensed milk, mix well. Pour into a greased pan and let it cool. Cut into small squares when candy has cooled.

1 stick butter or margarine
2 cups sugar
1 / 4 cup cocoa
1 / 2 cup milk
1 / 3 cup peanut butter
3 cups quick oat
1 teaspoon vanilla
In a medium saucepan combine butter or margarine, sugar, cocoa and milk to boiling over high heat MED and boil for 2 minutes. Remove mixture from heat and add vanilla and peanut butter and oats. Drop by teaspoonful on waxed paper to cool.
